Peter Blake, best known for designing The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, is celebrating his 80th birthday and the album’s 45th with a reinterpretation of the famous cover, this time with images of his own heroes and friends.
Ronnie Wood, Paul Weller and Roger Daltrey joined the former Beatle for “a bit of rocking out” on a fantastic version of Get Back. Check out the video for a great trade-off between Paul and Ronnie.

It’s not that she’s wiser or less incensed, maybe not even that’s she’s feeling more joy and less shame, but something about Ani DiFranco has evened out over the years. One could chalk it up to age and motherhood, and likely she would herself, but the reasoning is irrelevant. Though she’s far from being at peace with the world, there’s a sort of serenity that surrounds her now – and just as remarkably, it’s mirrored back from her once overly-rowdy crowd.

March 19, 1982. Amid the fiery wreckage of a single-engine airplane crash in Florida, the life of a gifted young musician came to an end. This week marks the 30th anniversary of the death of Randy Rhoads.
But the musical legacy of Ozzy Osbourne’s classically-trained guitarist – a legacy forever emblazoned on two of the most revered hard rock albums of all time, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman – lives on through the devotion of his fans.
The 30th anniversary remastered reissues of both these landmark albums were released last year with rare bonus tracks, giving fans many reasons to celebrate. Also included was an entire CD’s worth of newly discovered unreleased live tracks from the Blizzard of Ozz tour, mixed by Ozzy Osbourne’s producer Kevin Churko.
